Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin
Juicy, perfectly cooked pork in under 25 minutes. The air fryer delivers restaurant results.
Instructions
Instructions
-
Prep the pork. Pat tenderloin dry. Trim any silver skin—it won’t render and gets chewy.
-
Season. Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub olive oil all over the pork, then coat with the spice mixture.
-
Preheat. Preheat air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3-5 minutes.
-
Cook. Place tenderloin in the air fryer basket. Cook for 18-22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 63°C (145°F).
-
Rest. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing—the temperature will rise a few more degrees and juices will redistribute.
-
Slice and serve. Cut into 1cm (½ inch) medallions.
Temperature Guide
- 63°C (145°F) — Slightly pink centre, very juicy (recommended)
- 68°C (155°F) — No pink, still moist
- 71°C (160°F) — Well done, can be dry
Variations
- Herb crust: Add dried rosemary and sage
- Spicy: Add cayenne and chili powder
- Asian: Use five-spice powder, ginger, and sesame oil
- Mustard crusted: Coat with Dijon before the spices
Notes
- Tenderloin is very lean—don’t overcook
- Works with two smaller tenderloins too
- Let it come to room temperature before cooking for more even results
