Instructions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven. Set to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set a wire rack on top.

  2. Prep shrimp. Toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Wrap. Cut bacon strips in half. Wrap each shrimp with half a bacon strip, securing with a toothpick if needed.

  4. Arrange. Place wrapped shrimp on the wire rack in a single layer.

  5. Bake. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until bacon is crispy and shrimp is pink and cooked through.

  6. Serve. Remove toothpicks if used. Serve with lemon wedges.

Air Fryer Method

  • Preheat to 200°C (400°F)
  • Cook 8-10 minutes, flipping once
  • Work in batches to avoid crowding

Serving Ideas

  • As appetizers with dipping sauce
  • Over a salad as a main
  • Skewered for easy eating
  • With garlic butter for dipping

Notes

  • Thin-cut bacon works better—it crisps faster
  • Partially cook bacon first if you prefer it extra crispy
  • Large or jumbo shrimp work best
  • Can be assembled ahead and refrigerated until ready to cook
